Printable Recipe

1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
1 cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 package (1.25 ounces) taco seasoning
suggested toppings - chopped tomatoes, chopped onions or green onions, chopped ripe olives, chopped cilantro

    Spread refried beans evenly in pan.  (Pie plate works well or other shallow dish or pan)  Set aside.
    In a separate bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.  Mix until well combined.
    Spread mixture evenly over refried beans.  Top with desired toppings. 
    Refrigerate until serving time.  Must be chilled several hours or overnight to blend flavors of taco seasoning with the sour cream mixture. 
    Serve with tortilla chips.
