Printable Recipe



1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cups cold milk
4 medium apples, peeled, cored and cut into small chunks
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

suggested toppings, ice cream, whipped cream, chopped nuts


Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Combine cornstarch, brown sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
Stir until well mixed.
Stir in milk.
Add apples, melted butter and walnuts.
Stir to combine. 
Pour mixture into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Serve warm or cold with toppings if desired.
