Printable Recipe

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chopped onions
1 clove minced garlic
1 lb fresh spinach
1 (15 oz) can white beans (I used Great Northern)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon (I used Herb Ox)
salt and pepper to taste

     Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until butter is melted.  Add onions and saute for 2-3 minutes or until the onions start to soften.  Add garlic and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.  Stir in the remaining ingredients.  Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until spinach is wilted.

Serves 4
