Printable Recipe


Prep Time:  5 minutes
Cook Time:  10 minutes
Chill Time:  2 hours or overnight
Yield:  6 servings


1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce (La Choy is GF)
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger OR 1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 (1-1/2 pound) beef flank steak


     Combine corn oil, vinegar, soy sauce, onion, garlic and ginger in shallow baking dish. Add steak, turning to coat. Cover; refrigerate, turning occasionally, 2 hours or overnight.
     Remove steak from marinade. Grill or broil 6 inches from heat, turning once, 8 minutes for medium rare or until desired doneness. Thinly slice diagonally across the grain.
