Printable Recipe

3 cups dry milk powder
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup instant potato flakes
1/4 cup beef or chicken bouillon granules (Herb Ox are GF)


Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container.

To prepare: Blend 3/4 cup mix and 1 1/4 c. water in a 1 qt. saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until thick.

MICROWAVE - Use same amount of mix and water as stated above combined in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high power 2-3 minutes stirring after each minute until thick.

Use as a basic substitute for one 10 3/4 oz. can condensed cream of chicken, celery or mushroom soup.

Recipe makes approx 4 cups of dry mix or enough for about 5 batches.
