Printable Recipe

1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2-3 teaspoons Blackened seasoning (I used Chef Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Magic)
    If you aren't sure you can start with 2 tsp and add another at the end if you want
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups cooked white or brown rice (cooked without salt or butter)
½ cup frozen peas, thawed

     In a large skillet, saute shrimp and seasoning in oil and butter until shrimp turn pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute more. Add salt, peas and rice. Cook 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

Yield: 4 servings
