Printable Recipe

1 cup fresh Parmesan, finely shredded (you must use fresh grated Parmesan for these, the kind in the green canister will not work)
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
2 teaspoons dried minced onion, crushed
½ teaspoon garlic powder

     Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Place 1 tablespoon of cheese in piles about 2" apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.  Lightly pat down the piles to form small rounds about 2 inches wide.  Bake for 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
These are best eaten right away.

Makes approx 12 Parmesan crisps.

These look great and definitely my kind of cooking - just throw them all
together and you end up with something tasty

I'm also taking part in the
Hearth & Soul hop and that's how I found your blog.

What a great way to use up all the dribs and drabs of seeds in the spice
cupboard before they go bad.

Ah-ha, what a great idea. I've always made just plain old ordinary ones, but I
do really love a toasted sesame seed, so this makes perfect sense. Thanks for
sharing with the Hearth and Soul hop.
