Yummy! This looks wonderful. Have you ever tried making it with olive oil or
canola oil? I'm curious if that would work as well.
Carol   |97.100.62.xxx |2011-03-07 02:45:34
Hi Katie, I have not made this with any oil other than the sesame oil. The
sesame oil adds a lot of flavor so I am sure the recipe would work with other
oils but it just wouldn't be as flavorful.

I simply adore hummus! And your recipe looks so easy, and sooo good! Thank you
so much for linking up to Friday Potluck!

What a great twist! The ingredients are all in my cupboard (which is more than I
can say for traditional hummus). Can't wait to try it.

I love black beans so much and can see them in hummus. I would have never
thought about adding the sesame oil with them though. Great idea!

I really adore hummus and I love the idea that you made it with different beans
instead of chickpeas! Very cool. Thanks for linking it to the hearth and soul
hop, but I don't see the link back, can you please add it so more people can
join in the fun! All the best, Alex

Thank you for linking up! This looks wonderful. I absolutely LOVE black beans
and just bought another case of canned black beans at Costco this week... I
think I'm gonna give this a try today! BTW... I featured you (again) on Katie's
Cucina.
