Printable Recipe

2 cups milk
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 (16 oz) bag frozen California Blend Vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots)

       Preheat oven to 350°F.
     In a large saucepan combine milk with cornstarch.  Stir until cornstarch is dissolved.  Add butter, salt and pepper to pan.   Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly.
     Remove from heat.  Stir in cheese and stir till cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. 
     Stir in ham and vegetables.
     Transfer mixture to a greased 2 quart casserole.
     Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.

Serves 4
