Printable Recipe

1 lb Italian Sausage, casings removed
1 medium onion, chopped
16 oz jar salsa
1¼ cups dry lentils, rinsed
1 (10 oz) package fresh spinach (stems removed)
6 cups water

      Brown sausage in a dutch oven or large soup pot until done.  Add remaining ingredients.   Cover and simmer on low heat 30-40 minutes or until lentils are tender.
